I did not write anything on the blog lately because I was quite busy reading. Some time ago I went to Redu, Europe’s first book village in the Belgian Ardennes. The weather was not so great but the selection of books was incredible -in French, English, Dutch, Spanish, Russian and other European languages.

I quite enjoy reading old/used books and the price was more than OK. So, after one afternoon of moving from one house to another (and having some delicious crepes with ice cream  along the way)  I managed to buy several books: in EN – Silas Warner the Weaver of Ravelope by Eliot, G., The Woman in White by Colins,W., Harry Ravel by Sir Quiller Couch,A., Kenilworth by Scott, W. and Those Barren Leaves by Huxley,A.; in FR – Contes Choisis by Daudet A., Histoire d’un Petit Homme by Halt,R.M, Philippine by Bedel, M., and Theatre Classique Francais by Figuiere. These are those types of books that you can read rather quickly.

It was quite an exhausting day but I could do it every week if it was not so far from Brussels. The sellers in the village were very friendly and ready any time to talk about their books.
